Ingredients

Serves : 5
  • 1 cups boiled mix beans


  • 2 cups mix veg - ( onion, spring onion, carrot, capsicum, french beans, ginger, garlic and cabbage)


  • 1 tbsp gram flour./besan


  • 2 tbsp cornstarch


  • 2 tbsp soya sauce


  • 1 tbsp red chili sauce


  • 1 tbsp tomato ketchup


  • 2 tbsp vinegar


  • 1/2 tsp salt to taste


  • 8 tbsp oil

Directions

  • Grind boiled beans make a thick paste.
  • Chop all the vegetables except onion, ginger and garlic, we have to cut them in juliennes.
  • Take a big mixing bowl add beans paste, chopped vegetables, gram flour, 1 tablespoon cornstarch and salt. Mix everything and knead it into a soft dough.
  • Take small portions from the dough and shape them into balls
  • Heat 8 tablespoons oil in a pan and deep-fry all balls until they turn golden.
  • Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan then add chopped garlic and onion and ginger julienne sauté for few seconds
  • Heat 2 tablespoons oil in a pan then add chopped garlic and onion and ginger julienne sauté for few seconds
  • Now add soya sauce, vinegar, tomato ketchup and chilli sauce.
  • Add 2 tablespoons of water in 1 tablespoon cornstarch and make a thin paste and add it in the pan.
  • Then add fried balls and spring onions, mix well.
  • Beans manchurian is ready to be served.
